Do I have to pay when I register?
No. Simply create a Wine Wallet account and take a look at Wine Wallet without obligation. There you can see how you can build up your wine collection in the future. After the 1-month trial, access expires and there are no costs for you. If you like Wine Wallet , enter your preferred payment method (e.g. credit card) and start the Wine Wallet subscription!
Why should I age my wines in a professional wine storage facility?
Temperature fluctuations and incorrect storage can permanently impair the taste and value.
What is included in the Wine Wallet package?
The monthly all-inclusive package includes the following services:
- Insurance cover for your wines
- Access to the Wine Wallet Web application
- Ongoing storage of your wines from the free market
- Optimal storage conditionsTemperature control and humidity adjustment
Which package size should I choose?
The package sizes depend on the number of bottles you want to store professionally and are offered in increments of 60. The quantity you choose at the beginning remains permanently reserved for you in the warehouse.
If you ever want to store more than your parcel allows, the next higher parcel will be charged automatically the following month - as long as there is enough space available. If our capacities are exhausted, short-term overstorage is unfortunately not guaranteed. 🏷️
Are my wines insured in wine storage?
WineWallet insures the entire wine stock of our customers. When storing your wines, we determine the market value and secure it for you. This means less work for you and more favorable conditions for everyone! Annual index adjustments ensure that the insured value of your wines is always kept up to date.
P.S.: We are proud to have had hardly any insurance claims so far - we take good care of your treasures. 
How are the wines stored?
First select the right package size for you via the WineWallet website and create an account. You will then receive an WineWallet where you can store your first wines! There are several ways to do this:
First colonization of your wines:
Register your entire collection for an initial relocation. You can find more information on this [here].Ongoing submissions via WineWallet:
Add new wines directly to your WineWallet and then send them to us by parcel service (post, DPD, etc.).
If you don't have a proper shipping box at home, we will be happy to send it to you in advance! Direct shipments from the free market:
Wines that you buy from wine merchants or winegrowers can be delivered directly to our warehouse using your personal customer number.
How are wines sent from the free market?
How can I make sure that I get my exact bottle of wine back?
- Inventory & control: Each wine bottle is thoroughly checked and digitized upon delivery.
- Photos: We take photos of the front and back and store them in our system.
- Quality check: The condition of the label, cap and fill level are documented. Deviations from the normal condition can be found in the notes of your WineWallet.
Thanks to this precise check and our sophisticated storage concept, we guarantee that your treasures will arrive exactly as you stored them. 
Can I also store OWC, champagne, magnums or double magnums?
But of course! Our special storage concept makes it easy to create the perfect conditions for your special sizes or sparkling wines. Here's how they count in the storage calculation:
- 0.75 liter bottle: Counts as 1 bottle.
- Half bottle (0.375L): Counts as 1 bottle.
- 1-liter bottle: Also counts as 1 bottle.
- Magnum (1.5L): Counts as 2 bottles (0.75L x 2).
- Double magnum (3L): Counts as 4 bottles (0.75L x 4).
So you can flexibly expand your collection - no matter what bottle size!
How do I get my stored wines back?
You have two options: Either by parcel service - Your wines are insured up to €500 as standard. If you would like higher insurance, this is possible for a small surcharge. Sending a box of 6 wines costs €12.
Or you can get your wines free of charge on site from. 
By the way: In the WineWallet you can register the pick-up at any time or calculate the shipping costs for delivery to your desired address.
